Filler Dissolving

Filler dissolving, also called hyaluronidase treatment, involves injecting an enzyme called hyaluronidase into areas where dermal fillers have been previously administered. This enzyme breaks down hyaluronic acid, the primary component of many fillers, allowing the body to absorb and eliminate the filler material.

The procedure is particularly useful for correcting overfilled or incorrectly placed fillers, addressing issues like asymmetry or overcorrection. It’s a quick process, typically taking only a few minutes in a clinic setting, with results becoming noticeable within days as the filler gradually breaks down.
